4 Days 3 Nights Orangutan Explores Rimba Lodge accommodation
Itinerary:
Day 1 : Airport – Kumai – Rimba Lodge (L,D)
On arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service with your guide then transfer you to Kumai. Onboard, crossing Kumai River approximately 15 minutes to the main river named Seikonyer River. You will ride up about 2 hours to reach the Rimba Lodge. Lunch will be served by our own cook on the boat. Dinner and overnight is in Rimba Lodge
Day 2 : Rimba Lodge - Camp Leaky – Rimba Lodge (B,L,D)
After breakfast, proceed up the stream to Camp Leaky area, it will pass the black river. When arrive in camp Leaky, hiking up to see more wildlife such as Orangutans, Gibbons, wild pigs, Kingfisher, Broadbill, Hornbill, etc. At 14.00 you will follow the keeper while they feed the orangutan into the forest. At 16.00 you will be back to the boat then boating down to the Rimba Lodge.
Day 3 :Rimba Lodge - PondokTangguy – Pasalat Reforestation - TanjungHarapan Camp - TanjungHarapan Village – Rimba Lodge. (B,L, D)
After breakfast, boating up the river to the second station called PondokTangguy, here the ranger will feed the Orangutan at 09.00 and it will take about 1 hours by boat from Rimba Lodge. Enjoying the situation till 10.00, after feeding continue the trip and boating down to Pasalat Camp for your Carbon Offsetting program. Here you will grow one tree per person as a contribution for slow down the climate change. This is also as a payment for the carbon you had paid from the airline ticket and all the transportation you had used to get here. After you grow the tree, then going back to the boat and boating down direct to TanjungHarapan Camp for visiting the last orangutan feeding. Here they feed the orangutan at 15.00 in the Afternoon. Enjoy the situation till 16.00 pm. Back to the camp and if it is still enough time crossing to TanjungHarapan village to see the Malayan settlement activities in the Afternoon. Back to the boat and boating down directly to Nipa Palm area to see thousand of firefly. Lunch will be served en-route by our own cook on board. Back to Rimba Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 :Rimba Lodge – Kumai – Airport (B)
After breakfast, boating down to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan bun Airport for your next destination.
